This quick and easy Irish Bread recipe really comes together in no time. It has been a family recipe for many generations now, although there is a little contention as to the use of milk or buttermilk in the recipe.

This is one of our favorite recipes this time of year. It is nice to use just one bowl, a short list of ingredients, and the cleanup is easy. The hardest part is waiting for it to cool off as it is delicious fresh out of the oven. Add a little butter to it, especially when warm, and it makes it even better. Hope you enjoy.
