Irish Bread
Quick and easy Irish bread recipe. Perfect for St. Patrick's Day, or really any day.

- 4 cups flour 3 cups for smaller batch, 5 cups for larger batch
- 4 tsp baking powder 3 tsp for smaller batch, 5 tsp for larger batch
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp for smaller batch
- 1 tbsp carraway seeds 1 tbsp for smaller batch, 3 tbsp for larger batch
- 2 cups seedless raisins 2.5 cups for larger batch
- 2 cups milk 2.5-3 cups for larger batch. Slowly add the milk in by 1 cup increments. The consistency should be like biscuit dough.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl or use a stand mixer. Consistency should be like biscuit dough.
Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes. The bread will be done when the top is slightly brown and the sides have moved away from the edges of the pan.
Wait for 5 minutes, then turn out on a rack to cool.
