Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 butternut squash 2-3 lbs
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground thyme

Instructions

  • Spray the inside of the crock pot or use a liner.
  • Add the chicken, butternut squash (peeled, cubed), onion (diced) and chicken broth to a slow cooker.
  • Add in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Stir.
  • Set slow cooker on low for 5-6 hours. Start checking at 5 hours to assess doneness. Depending on the slow cooker, this time can vary.
