Slow Cooker Butternut Squash Chicken

- 2 lb chicken breast boneless, skinless
- 1 onion diced
- 1 butternut squash 2-3 lbs
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground thyme
Spray the inside of the crock pot or use a liner.
Add the chicken, butternut squash (peeled, cubed), onion (diced) and chicken broth to a slow cooker.
Add in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Stir.
Set slow cooker on low for 5-6 hours. Start checking at 5 hours to assess doneness. Depending on the slow cooker, this time can vary.
