The crocheted dish towels are a good gift idea to use together with these dish cloths. This is a nice idea for a housewarming gift, bridal shower, or birthday gift. I made these as a gift for my mom and they match perfectly with the other colors in her kitchen.

This simple pattern uses single crochet and double crochet stitches, similar to the dish cloths. It is a great beginner crocheting project. I like using Lily’s cotton yarn, but any brand of cotton yarn will work. You’ll need one skein for the base of the towel and one skein for the top and edges. Michael’s crafts often has good sales on yarn; be sure to check this out.

Materials needed:

Two skeins cotton yarn – I prefer different coordinating colors

Size I crochet hook

Button and thread

Scissors

Key:
Ch = chain
SC = single crochet stitch
DC = double crochet stitch
SC2TOG = single crochet together

To Make Crocheted Dish Towels:

1.
